The whole truth

By partially removing the coating to form questions, The whole truth turns mirrors into a multilayered visual device: there’s the text, the space or surface beyond the glass, the reflection of what stands before, and, merging with all of them, your own reflection when you come near. The resulting surface plays with the eye’s accommodation, forcing vision into a back and forth, unable to sharply grasp everything at once.

The truth, The whole truth, And nothing but the truth is a series of three works, engaging with experiences of navigating the truth regarding one’s own reality and biography, when being truthful about oneself is impossible, dangerous, unrealistic or simply incomprehensible for others.
