At first nothing is visible, as if the screen was not turned on. But as the viewer passes by, something appears, indistinct at first. Gradually, very slowly, a picture appears. As a face looking towards the viewer starts to grow more visible, yet still very dark, it then fades out over a few seconds. The same then happens with a different face, and again, and again.
